SAINT-JOHN, NB – Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff was expecting a boost from a well-known fiddler as he wrapped up an Atlantic Canada swing Wednesday evening with a stop in Nova Scotia.
Fiddler Ashley MacIssac, whose music has been used throughout the campaign at Ignatieff’s rallies, is expected to join an evening rally at Yarmouth Junior High School in Nova Scotia where the Liberals are hoping to regain a seat they lost in the last election to the Tories.
Ignatieff has been entering an exiting most of his rallies to the tune of a modified version of MacIssac’s Wing Stock.
The Cape Breton fiddler previously endorsed Ignatieff during the Liberal leadership race.
